AMD | SeaMicro SM10000

The SM10000 was SeaMicro's first low power high density server. It was introduced with a capacity of 512 processors and 64 disk drives fitting into 10 RU (17.5 inches) of rack space.

The advantage of the system over more conventional systems is the low power to processor ratio that allows more processing power to fit into existing data center racks without the need to increase the cooling capacity of the center, lowering power bills while increasing processing capacity.
